In addition to basic functions, the Intelligent valve positioner series of Azbil AVP7/AVP3/AVP2 has communication functions, automatic setup programs, and self-diagnostic functions, greatly improving productivity and efficiency. The Intelligent valve positioner series of Azbil has a 4-20mA valve opening signal transmission function.

Local user interface with LCD and button mode for use in the explosive environment on the front of the machine.
From this interface, an automatic adjustment program (automatic setting), machine and equipment confirmation, and various variables display can be performed.
Intelligent valve positioner series of Azbil AVP7/AVP3/AVP2 can be integrated with machine management system through EDDL, DTM, Plug-in Falstaff.
There is a control valve diagnostic algorithm function block with information obtained and processed according to the supply air pressure, output air pressure 1, output air pressure 2, built-in pressure sensor to detect the backpressure of the nozzle.
The local user interface on the front of the device combines an LCD display and push buttons, and can be used in explosive atmospheres. From the front panel, the user can execute the automatic adjustment (Auto Setup) program, check equipment status, and display various parameters.
Integration with device management systems can be done using EDDL, DTM, and PLUG-IN Falstaff.
The installed control valve diagnosis algorithm effectively applies data obtained from the embedded pressure sensors for measuring supply air pressure, output air pressure 1, output air pressure 2, and nozzle backpressure. Equipped with a splash-proof magnetic switch outside of the explosion-proof enclosure on top of the device in order to run the automatic adjustment (Auto Setup) program, manual span adjustment, and so forth. Integration with device management systems can be done using EDDL, DTM, and PLUG-IN Falstaff. Comes with a control valve diagnosis algorithm installed.
Each positioner is used by mounting the travel detector on the control valve actuator and the positioner itself on a 2-inch pipe or the like. The travel detector can be installed where it is subject to acceleration of 10 G, violent 2,000 Hz vibration, and a high ambient temperature of 80°CSuch features help to extend the product’s service life, make maintenance work safer, and enhance workability. Other features are the same as the 300 Series.
