Fisher 1078 Declutchable Manual Actuator is a separate actuator for manual operation of control valves and equipment using power actuators. Fisher 1078 Declutchable Manual Actuator mount directly in Fisher 1051 sizes 33, 40, and 60; Dimensions 33, 40, 60, and 70; Dimensions 30, 40, 60, 68, 80, and 100; As well as all sizes on the 1066 and 1066SR actuators.For 1051 size 33, 1052 size 33, 1066 and 1066SR actuators, the power actuators are connected via a flat shaft mounted in a connecting rod or lever. The dimensions of these shafts are the same as those suitable for H mounting.The stem is inserted into the square opening of the manual actuator and the spacer is used to hold the stem in place.
The 1078 manual actuator, shown in figures 1 and 2, is a declutchable unit for manual operation of control valves and equipment that use power actuators. The 1078 manual actuator mounts directly to Fisher 1052 size 70; 1061 sizes 30,40, 60, 68, 80, and 100; and to all sizes of 2052 actuators. The 1078 manual actuator can be engaged to allow manual operation of the valve when the power actuator is not in use. It can be disengaged to allow automatic operation of the valve by the power
actuator. The mechanism used allows manual actuator engagement at any point of power actuator rotation.
Fisher 1078 Declutchable Manual Actuator have following features:
1.Direct Connection to Power Actuator — Install directly into the actuator housing, Fisher 1078 Declutchable Manual Actuator simplifying the installation process and eliminating the need for brackets and other brackets.
2.Manual actuators can be engaged at any point of rotation — the eccentric bearing seat on the input shaft is operated by a lever so that the worm gear and the sector gear can be engaged at any point of rotation.Because the travel indicator assembly is mounted on the shaft through the actuator, accurate travel readings can be maintained during manual disengagement or integration of the actuator.
3.Forward operation — the disconnect link is locked in the join and release position by the brake. The brake must be released in order to move the link.
